Papyrus
Papyrus is made from the plant cyperus papyrus or cyperus isocaldus. The trunk of the plant is allowed for several days to soak in water, it is then placed in successive vertical layers and is pressed to expel the water and the internal adhesive to fill any gaps. In dry climates it has excellent durability qualities.
